Purpose of the Gala

The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Gala represents a coming together of administrators, faculty, staff, students, community partners, and alumni to share in a joyous occasion of 40 Years of Excellence. The event will serve as a time of reflection and jubilant celebration of the many triumphs of the program and the great students it serves in higher education. It is our goal that this program will light the path of opportunity for generations to come and build upon our rich 40 year history of serving students in excellence in the California State University system.

Gala Event Details

The Gala will be held on Monday, March 9th from 7:15 pm to 9:00 pm. The attire for the event is formal.

Components of the Gala

The EOP Gala will include dinner and entertainment along with a keynote address, and an EOP Ball will be held immediately following the Gala from 9:00 pm -11:00 pm in the Grand Ballroom of the Double Tree Hotel in Sacramento, CA. (See the main conference webpage for driving directions)

Ticket Prices for the Gala

General Conference Guest Package	A ticket price will not be assessed for the two groups below: EOP Conference Registrants paying the $300 early registration rate or the late registration rate of $350 are admitted to the Gala as a part of their registration. EOP Conference Student Registrants are covered by their conference registration fee.
Bronze Package	Currently enrolled CSU students attending the Gala only and not attending the conference will be charged a rate of $50.
Silver Package	EOP Alumni $100 per gala ticket EOP Community Partners $100 per gala ticket EOP Gala Guests $100 per gala ticket Note: Additional guests beyond one Gala attendee will be charged $75 per ticket for the general conference guest, bronze, or silver packages.
Gold Package	Half a Table (5 persons) $375 per half table Full Table (10 persons) $750 per table Note: The gold package above provides a 25% discount for attendance by a group at the Gala.
Platinum Package	Two Tables (20 persons) $1400 for a total of two tables Note: This platinum package above provides a 30% discount for attendance by a group at the Gala.

All proceeds raised from the Gala will be used for a system-wide EOP Scholarship and future conference endeavors by EOP system-wide.
