Dear Summer Bridge Academy Participant,
We are excited that you have chosen to participate in this year's EOP Summer Bridge Academy!
This email is a friendly reminder of the required steps you must complete prior to your first day of the Summer Bridge Academy.
Orientation at University Union Ballroom
- Orientation starts at 8:00 am on Monday, June 29th
- Please check your My Sac State email account at My Sac State for New Student Orientation information and to download your parking permit for June 29th.
- Please remember to bring a photo ID (such as a valid driver's license, passport, or state ID), as well as your Sac State Student ID Number, plus $15 in cash to purchase your OneCard (Sac State ID).
- If you need a parking permit during the EOP Summer Bridge Academy, please bring original and provide a copy of your valid Driver's License (Provisional Permits do not qualify), along with a copy of your current proof of insurance, and Parking Permit Agreement (sent via a previous email) to Orientation. Please be sure to include your Vehicle's License Plate Number on the Parking Permit Agreement.
- If you have not paid your Orientation fee as of yet, you MUST do so by Tuesday, June 23rd at 3:30pm. Otherwise, you will not be able to enroll in any courses until this fee is paid.
Summer Bridge Class Schedule
- You will be receiving your class schedule on the day of Orientation (June 29th). Your schedule will have up to 3 classes that you will be taking during the 6 weeks of EOP Summer Bridge Academy. Missing one day of class is equivalent to missing three days; Therefore, you are not allowed to miss any classes.
Leadership Class/ALS-79A
- You will receive an email to your My Sac State email account for additional information regarding your Leadership Class/ALS-79A course.
ARISE-EOP Retention Component:
- The ARISE project is designed to assist undergraduate students achieve their goals by providing assistance in various areas such as academic advising, reconnecting with the EOP program and increased involvement in the campus community. All incoming freshmen are required to create an account on the ARISE Project website to be able to schedule online appointments with Counselors and advisors.
