| When will the conference be held and what is the time frame? | ||||||
|
The conference is Tuesday, August 26th, 2008 8am to 4pm in the University Union with the first conference con-current session at 10:00 am. Note: FYE faculty on our campus must arrive at 8:15 am and registration will begin at 8:00 am for your convenience. |

| How do I register for the conference? | ||||||
| You can register on-line or via fax at (916) 278-5491. |

| What is the registration fee for the conference? | ||||||

| What is the deadline to register? | ||||||
| The deadline to register is August 7th. |
||||||
| Will parking be provided and how do I navigate the campus? | ||||||
| Yes, please indicate on your registration form that you need parking and a permit will be provided for pick-up on the day of the conference. Permits can be secured in two places on campus- at the information booth located by the Football stadium and at the information booth located by the bus drop off. (See the Directional Map) |

| How can payments be made? | ||||||
| Payments can only be made by check or money order. We currently are not accepting debit or credit cards. Checks should be made payable to First Year Programs, CSU, Sacramento and mailed directly to the Freshman Programs Office at 6000 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95819-6135. |

| What meals will be provided? | ||||||
| The conference will include breakfast, lunch, and snacks. We will not provide dinner. |

| Are there special accommodations for persons with disabilities or persons with special dietary needs? | ||||||
| Yes, please alert us to your needs and we will accommodate your request.

| Is there shuttle service from my hotel? | ||||||
| You will have to arrange travel to and from your hotel and the airport. Please note that taxi, rental car, and Super Shuttle are recommended. |

| Who can attend the conference? | ||||||
| Anyone can attend so long as they register for the conference.
Community Colleges, CSU faculty and staff, student para-professionals, Sac State Faculty and Staff, other guests.

| Can I submit a conference proposal? | ||||||
| Yes, the deadline is June 16th. Please contact Marcellene Watson-Derbigny at watsonml@csus.edu for details. |

| When will I find out if my proposal is accepted for presentation? | ||||||
| Notification will be sent out regarding proposals in late June.

| What if I have special equipment requests for my presentation? | ||||||
| Just let us know and we will provide available equipment in our inventory.
