Project Description: Students will gain information to complete 7 projects that are directly related to administrative course content: budgets, program philosophy, curriculum, indoor and outdoor space, parent and community relations, safety and nutrition.

Project Description: This course provides CSUS students with the opportunity to work in a K–12 classroom in a local public school setting. Students work in the classroom in variety of ways which may include small groups, whole class lessons, or one-with-one with students. Students gain hands-on experience in a classroom setting. The prerequisite to this course is EDTE 101A/B or EDTE 103A/B which can be taken concurrently with EDTE 104.

Project Description: Prior to Sacramento State students field-experience course includes: Hands on class sessions with primary focus on the comprehensive framework for learning how to read and instructional methods for tutoring elementary students in reading.(Co requisite EDTE 103 B) EDTE 103 B. The tutoring process includes: Teaching word analysis skills, sight words and comprehension through multi-cultural literature, folktales-fairytales, Readers Theater and poetry. Students will learn to adapt tutoring for learning styles, motivation, learning disabilities, and ESL students.

Project Description: Practical clinical experience in a variety of acute, rehab and outpatient settings working directly with patients under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Project Description: Students gain more understanding of families in America, including how they impact them in other aspects of their lives, the services that exist out there for them, some of the difficulties that they encounter and the diversity of families and family forms that exist in society.

Project Description: Students will partner with middle and high school students to help them develop their writing though electronic correspondence.

Project Description: The writers in section 4 of English 1A are corresponding with 20 students from Florin Elementary School. The goal of this course project is encourage students to attend college while simultaneously helping the writers in English 1A develop a stronger sense of rhetoric in terms of audience awareness.

Project Description: Students design a database for a non-profit to gain professional skills while providing service to the community.
