The Veterans' Affairs Office (VAO) assists veterans, reservists, and dependents of service disabled or deceased veterans with their educational benefits. The staff is available to provide advice on completing and filing VA claim forms for federal and state education assistance programs. They will also assist with special registration procedures required for students who are sponsored under one of the VA Fee Waiver programs (for dependents and disabled veterans); and provide help identifying and resolving payment problems.

This office does not handle Tuition Assistance. Tuition Assistance applications, policies, and procedures may be obtained by your reserve unit's education service office. Once you have completed the appropriate Tuition Assistance paperwork, please contact the Student Financial Services Center at (916) 278-6736 additional details regarding reimbursement procedures.
